The garage door came off the track. The company came out and assessed the problem, the repairman was very knowledgeable. I didn’t feel like they were trying to rip me off when they outlined the issues. It took the repair guys a couple hours but got it done the door works perfectly now. He also gave me some tips on how to care for the garage door to prevent future issues. I really appreciated him walking me thru all that. Overall excellent work. Also wanted to note that there were able to come out the day after I called them. Which was amazing, several other companies I called I couldn’t get a return phone call. But they were very happy to come out right away. The appointment they had before me ran a bit over but the guys called me to let me know so I was able to adjust. He showed up at the revised time he had promised. I highly recommend!!!
We were very worried when we noticed that the garage doors were opening by themselves after the first visit. However, Eric was terrific and very efficient He had a real knowledge of the problem and also possible ideas for any future possibilities – Bravo!
I was leaving the house to go to work around 7:30 AM and the garage door got bound up when opened. Two rollers had ejected from their positions and the door was stuck in the up position, hanging by the other four rollers and could not be lowered. The cables had also unwound. We had only been in the house for a little over 6 months and had a home warranty but past experiences with slow response times made us call Garage Doors & More of the Piedmont @ (704) 895-1006. We had used them before to replace garage doors & openers in our former home & my father’s home, so we knew they were capable of repairs. They said they would squeeze us into their schedule & be there early in the afternoon and they were true to their word, arriving at 1 PM. The old rollers were cracked and chipped which caused the jam so they replaced them and also new cables because the old ones were frayed. They completed the work in a timely & professional manner & gave us instructions on maintaining the door to prevent further issues. Now the door opens and closes without a hitch & is much quieter. We definitely would call them in the future.

Very professional company. The estimator was right on time and provided a very competitive quote for a new door installation. The day I called to set up the installation they were out within 4 hours and the old door was removed and the new one installed within an hour. The technician did an outstanding job.
Replaced track, motor devise, opener. The service person advise us that only one door of two needed to be repaired. Advised that molded molding on garage doors could be done by them. They explained all the steps to me the “wife” so that I would understand what we were paying for. Very please with the work of the new track, light and opener. Glad the service person advise extra work that could be done by them. Plan to do the other door quarter two of 2016.

They installed a new insulated garage door and also a new garage door opener. The house we recently moved into had a garage door opener from 1995 and the garage door was in pretty bad shape. I called around to a few different garage door companies and decided on using Garage Doors and More. They were the most responsive and very friendly over the phone. I found some of the garage door companies to not be as friendly over the phone and some tried to keep pressuring me to make an appointment. Nick from Garage Doors and More came out to give me an estimate and he explained all the items that would be replaced. He was very good to work with and after the estimate I went ahead and decided to go with their company. His cost were very reasonable and I found them to be cheaper than other estimates. For the installation they had 2 of their service techs come out and they removed all the old components and replaced it with all new hardware. The service techs were friendly and cleaned up everything when they left. The new garage door and door opener are amazingly quiet and it makes a huge difference. I was impressed and I will definitely use them again.
Completed inspection, diagnosed problem, made recommendations, discussed options and cost. The garage door had power. But was not going down due to cable coming off and roller off track. He replaced the rollers, added a support strut, adjusted the motor and lubed everything. Mike called twice to confirm when he would be here because he was going to be a little later than the window originally given. He arrived when he indicated he would be here and went right to work. He was friendly, thorough in his explanation of the problem and completed the job in about 45 minutes.
Replaced garage door and motor, installed keypad entry for two-car garage. I originally called Garage Doors and More for a garage door tune up. It was a long shot as the garage was installed by the previous owner in 1997. Although it was tough to take on another expenditure, I couldn’t risk the very real possibility of getting stuck in my garage when the door failed. Since I got a reasonable estimate from Garage Doors and decided to replace the entire system. On the day of installation, Chris called 30 minutes before the appointment to let me know he was on his way. He showed up early, introduced himself and started to assess the job. He quickly realized that the original estimate was incorrect and that he needed a larger door. He made a quick call and let me know he was going to get the right materials. Within 15 minutes, his boss called to apologize about the mix up and offer to reschedule for the next day. Hey, mistakes happen and I wasn’t put out at all. The next day, Chris called when he was on his way. He arrived early and quickly got to work. Chris made sure it was done right, down to verifying that the remote entry worked and installing a light bulb in the new garage door motor. Around 5 pm, I was surprised to get a call from the boss who was checking to see how the job went. Impressive.
Replaced old garage door. Cody came to see us July 21, 2015 and was very helpful to us in choosing the right color, windows, and garaged door for our house. Two weeks later the new door arrived and the young man who installed it did a great job! The new door with windows has improved the look of our house so much that we wish we had purchased a new garage door several years ago. It was a very good experience and we would highly recommend this company.
